Thankyou. The accommodation is first rate and the scenery idyllic – even the rain stayed away. Its a perfect place for exploring Northumberland, Hadrian’s Wall, Kielder Walks and the coast. Bur our favourite places were the local walks around Harbottle Forest, where we saw red squirrels, and the isolated beach near Bamburgh.
The Rothwells
Very much loved the cottage, and surrounding areas of beauty. Did some local walks around Alwinton which were very scenic and tranquil. Brilliant Location to use as a base to see all that Northumberland has to offer, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The Wilkinson’s
We have had a fantastic week’s holiday. The weather has been glorious sun every day except one. The cottage is beautiful, very well equipped, and very clean. We love the garden and all the birds that visit. We visited a lot of places like Kielder water, Cragside, Lindesfarne and Bamburgh Castle. Will definitely come again!
